Happy Birthday, Andrew!

November 18th was Andrew's 10th birthday! Andrew chose waffles with homemade syrup for his birthday breakfast. What a great way to start a day....especially if it's your birthday!

After breakfast Andrew got to open his presents. He was thrilled with his new cd player and two new Patch the Pirate cds. It is always special for the kids to open cards that supporting churches have sent to them. Then their are always the emails and e-cards! Andrew was feeling pretty special by the time school started.

The day after Andrew's birthday we drove in to Tallinn to celebrate. Andrew wanted to go ice skating. So, Ron took our kids plus the Smith boys to a huge ice skating rink for an hour of fun. While all the kids were gone, I went to the Smith's house to make homemade tomato soup and decorate the cake. It was so nice of the Smiths to share their home with us (in the midst of their very busy schedule) for a birthday party.
Since Luke Smith was just a few days away from his 8th birthday, we celebrated them together. Yummy birthday cake, ice cream, and friends add up to a great party!

The Birthday Boys!
We thank the Lord for giving us Andrew. He has filled our home with love, laughter, and joy for 10 years.
