Christmas Day 2010

Christmas Day is a simple, but special day at our house. The morning starts off with the kids coming in to our room to do stockings. Then we have a big breakfast.

The excitement has been building and the kids are all ready to open presents. First, we pause and read the Christmas story and then spend a few minutes in prayer.

This year was very special since we received a package of gifts and goodies (apple cider, candy cane kisses, tootsie rolls) from my parents. THANKS MOM AND DAD! The kids also got a package from their pen pals. THANK YOU, NATHAN AND KELSIE! We also got to talk to Ron's parents and thank them for the things we got with the money they sent us. What a blessing it is to have family and friends that send a token of their love to us during the holidays.

We all received some nice gifts.....

We had a wonderful day!

  1. So glad you were able to enjoy a nice Christmas. Our Christmases on the field are also very simple.... so much simpler than when we are in the states... but we enjoy them just as much!

And, your tree was just beautiful!

  2. Sounds like you had a very sweet Christmas. The boys did a beautiful job on the tree!

An encouraging word is always welcome and much appreciated!
