The Sea Side in Winter

Join me as we take a little drive (only about 5 minutes from our apartment) to the Gulf of Finland.

The water is still frozen so everyone walked out a ways.

Our temperatures warmed up a little this past week. The temps have consistantly been above 0 (F) and have even reached above 32 (F) a couple of days. The warmer weather during the day has caused the top of the ice to start melting, but there is still a thick layer that is frozen solid.

Although we are all ready for some spring weather, the kids sure have fun playing in the snow and skating on the ice.

A beautiful picture created by God!

Thanks for joining me. Hope you enjoyed yourself. Aren't you glad you were able to join us without getting cold and wet?

  1. Those pics are so beautiful! Carrlee really wants to ice skate on a lake (not a man made rink) glad the kids are enjoying the snow :)
