Pickin' Apples

A few weeks ago, we enjoyed a beautiful day visiting friends in Elva.  They have lots of apples trees in their backyard and they had invited us to come and pick some.

Since it was a long drive one way, we made a day of it.  The kids were excited to play with friends while Ron and I were anticipating fellowship with other missionaries.

Besides picking apples, the kids enjoyed playing with the dog (Andy), playing tag, shooting baskets,

and jumping on the trampoline.

The kids were worn out when we left in the evening to drive home, but we were thankful for the wonderful day God had given us with friends.

  1. Wow, what a fun day. I love all the harvest available now. BTW, so glad you have missionaries to fellowship with. God sure is good.

    1. It was a fun day with beautiful weather! The kids and I made lots of apples sauce that was absolutely delicious.

It is nice to have missionary friends in the same country. It would be nice to see each other more than 2 or 3 times a year, but we are thankful for the times God give us.

      I agree....God is good!

    1. God has provided a beautiful place for the Lewis family. I wanted to spend more time taking pictures but the kids had a hard time being still long enough :)

Thanks for stopping by for a visit. Come again!
